Continuing Education Requirements
Affiliate Brokers
16 hours of approved education every two years to renew the license. The Tennessee Real Estate Commission requires the 6-hour TREC Core Course as part of this requirement.
Brokers
120 additional hours within three years of becoming a Broker. Then, 16 hours every two years thereafter. (Including the TREC Core Course)
CLI offers a variety of home study/self guided courses to meet these requirements.

TREC Core Course
This is a 6-hour required by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) core course for Affiliate Brokers and Brokers that must be taken every two years to renew their license.

8-Hour Credit Course
- Foreclosures, Short Sales, REOs, and Auctions
- Course Fee: $85 Each
30-Hour Credit Courses
- Introduction to Real Estate Law
- Essentials of Real Estate Investment
- The Course for New Affiliate Brokers (Qualifying ONLY Course*)
- Broker/Office Management (Qualifying ONLY Course*)
- Course Fee: $185 Each
* Qualifying courses do not provide CE credits.
